I love my @healthishco water bottle bc it’s super cute & keeps me accountable for staying hydrated. It’s marked with time indicators to remind you to drink your water every hour! 💦 #HealthishCo #DrinkYourWater #gifted
⚡️ NEW BLOG POST - 12 Travel Essentials You Want to Have for Your Next Trip ⚡️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whether you’ve traveled to multiple countries or it will be your first time on a plane, it’s always reassuring to know you packed everything you need for your trip.  Click the link in my bio before your next trip to make sure you don’t forget anything!
Mario Karting through Tokyo was probably one of my favorite experiences while we were there! Here are a few tips if you plan to do this when you go:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↠ BEFORE you book, you’ll need an international driving license which can be obtained at AAA. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↠ We booked the 2-hour tour through GoVoyagin.com & paid $68 per person. There is an option for a shorter tour, but I HIGHLY suggest the longer one bc it was a BLAST! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↠ The company provides hella costumes (we didn’t wear any bc it was TOO DAMN HOT)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↠ DON’T BE AFRAID! We were super nervous at first to drive on the roads, but it was a breeze! + you’ll feel like a celebrity because everyone on the streets wave & take photos of you. Lol⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you had to chose a character costume to wear who would you be?
📍Fushimi Inari Shrine - Kyoto, Japan ⛩ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ GETTING FROM TOKYO TO KYOTO: ↠ We took the Shinkansen (bullet train) which took a little over 2 hours. There are cheaper options, but this is the fastest option.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↠ We purchased our tickets at Shinjuku Station, but you can also purchase them online at GoVoyagin.com⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↠ Tickets are not cheap. A one-way costs 13,080 yen ($124) for non-reserved seats and 13,500 yen ($128) for reserved seats.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↠ From Tokyo, you can catch the Shinkansen at Tokyo Station.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↠ If you get lost in the station, ask for help! Google maps was great most of the time, but we still had to ask for help occasionally.
The Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is one of the most photographed places in Kyoto and I can absolutely understand why. But what they don’t tell you is that you’ll 100% get attacked by mosquitos when you visit 😭⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Pro-tip: We got here around 7:45AM & basically had the place to ourselves!
